Deep tissue massage for people who come with a problem.
Pain, stiffness, a neck that won't turn, a back that won't let you sleep. I don't sell minutes. I work for results.
Hi, I'm Viktor.
I'm a CAMTC-certified massage therapist. Massage started as a hobby for me in Russia more than ten years ago. Six years ago it became my profession. For the last four years I've worked here in California — at a medical massage center, alongside physical therapists, and now in my own practice.
For me, massage is a tool. The goal is to solve your problem.
I think of a tight muscle as a locked door, and my hands as a ring of keys. My job is to find the right key — and find it fast. Nothing makes my day like hearing "It hurt before, now it doesn't," or "I couldn't turn my head, now I can."
Try it once. Your body will tell you everything you need to know. The body doesn't lie.
- 10+ years of hands-on work
- Trained in Russia and the U.S.
- Worked alongside physical therapists
- Fighters, bodybuilders, golfers, cyclists, runners
This is not a spa massage.
If you're looking for a dark room, quiet music and someone to stroke you to sleep, I'm probably not the right fit. My room is bright, the music is energetic, and there are no aroma oils or hot towels.
What you get is focused work. I don't spread the pressure over your whole back. I feel each muscle with my fingers, find the exact spots that hold the problem, and stay on them until I feel them let go.
Will it hurt?
A tight muscle hurts when you press on it — with my hands or anyone else's. A relaxed muscle doesn't, no matter how much pressure. I start gently and work on the edge between comfort and discomfort, and I check in with you as I go. Clients often call it "good pain." If it's too much, tell me and I'll adjust.
How a session goes
I ask questions
What's bothering you and for how long. Does it hurt all day or only with certain movements? At night? Where does it spread?
I make a plan
Before I start, I already know what to work on first and what comes next.
I go layer by layer
I release the surface first, then go deeper — as deep as your muscles allow that day.
We check
I'll ask you to make the movement that hurt. Better? The same? Then I keep going.
Sometimes a session runs over because a muscle needs more time. If you have a few extra minutes, I'll stay on it. Those minutes are on me.
What people come to me with
- Lower back pain
- Neck pain, trouble turning or tilting the head
- Tension headaches
- Jaw pain
- Tight glutes and hips
- Stiff joints, limited range of motion
- Numbness in the arms or legs
- Sports injuries, tennis elbow, recovery after hard training
Had a recent injury or surgery? Tell me before we start.
After the session
Most people feel lighter right away: less pain, more movement. A neck that turned a little now turns much further. Some feel a rush of energy, some just want to sleep.
The next day you may feel sore — like the morning after going back to the gym after a long break. That's normal, and it passes in a day or two. Some people wake up feeling great. Everyone is different.
When the tight spots finally let go, your body moves the way it's supposed to. That's what I mean by Spread Your Wings.
In my clients' words
5.0 on Google · [number] reviews →"If you're truly looking for a real deep tissue massage, Viktor is the person to see."
"He would move my arms/legs/hips to determine the level of mobility and then he would find the tension/knot causing the limitation, work it out and move the extremity once again…"
"Some spots were definitely uncomfortable, but in a therapeutic, 'this area really needed some attention' kind of way."
Your first visit
For new clients:
- 90 minutes for the price of 60 — $140 instead of $210
- 120 minutes for the price of 90 — $210 instead of $280
Why longer? An hour is rarely enough to show what this work can do. A longer first visit gives me time to find the problem and actually work on it.
On the golf course
An on-site event: working with golfers between rounds.
